The kansa wand is a traditional Ayurvedic tool used for facial massage and gentle lymphatic drainage.

Crafted from an ancient Ayurvedic bronze alloy, the kansa wand is a gentle yet powerful tool for facial massage and lymphatic drainage. Its unique two-sided design, one edge for sculpting the contours of the face and neck, the other for delicate work around the eyes. It helps stimulate circulation, ease tension, and encourage the release of toxins anywhere on the body. With regular use, skin appears more lifted, luminous, and refreshed. The ritual offers a moment of calm and balance, honouring the mind-body connection at the heart of Ayurvedic tradition.

How to use

  • Generously apply the Saffron Oil to the face.
  • Using the larger end of the wand, start at the centre of the eyebrows and massage outward towards the temples, using small left-to-right strokes to ease tension from the furrows of the forehead. Be gentle.
  • Move to the cheekbones, working with small strokes from the nose to the ear.
  • Continue down the face, working from the centre outward to the ear — you can use a circular motion as you move down.
  • From the centre of the chin, work out to the ear, then drain down the neck to the collarbone.
  • Repeat the full sequence on the other side of the face.
  • Turn to the smaller end of the wand and gently work around the eyes — across the top of the eye area moving outward, and under the eye moving outward. Be gentle.
  • To finish, drain down the side of the face and neck to the clavicle.
  • Work slowly and mindfully — enjoy the ritual.
